Programme Overview

The National Diploma in Banking and Finance at the College of Banking and Finance, Ibadan, is designed to equip students with the practical skills and theoretical knowledge essential for careers in commercial banking, investment finance, insurance, and the rapidly growing fintech sector. The curriculum is aligned with NBTE standards and enriched with modules on digital banking, financial technology, and entrepreneurship.

Students complete a mandatory Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) attachment with partnering banks and financial institutions, ensuring they graduate with real-world professional experience. Upon completion, graduates may proceed to HND programmes or gain Direct Entry admission to Nigerian and international universities.
